Ok, this is a first. Prepared a map and descriptions for a right of way relocation. It was completed and out the door?? so I thought. Then came the email request for a ??minor? change?? The width of the right of way in a certain area needs to be decreased by ten feet. That affected two tracts and three easements. A couple of days work. ?ÿAfter I revised everything and send it in for their review prior to issuing final set, they want the call numbers preserved from the initial map. Not the bearings and distances, the call table numbers. When they changed the right of way width, they changed the number of calls. I really don??t know why they want it that way (other than to ??save confusion?) or exactly how to give it to them. Then they decided to prepare another map only of the affected area shown and totally different call numbers. Is it just me, or is that strange?
Like in a line table??ÿOr they just want there to be the same number of bearings and distances as before??ÿ
Whatever it is that is certainly an odd request.?ÿ
Perhaps they had started negotiations to acquire property and referred to line numbers from your original submission in the documents?
Pardon me but the first thing I thought about this was: Imagine if you were working with a Curta, typewriter and ink on linen. Its gotten so easy to throw stuff and see if it sticks.?ÿ?ÿ
Sounds like you're talking to a bunch of lawyers. ??ÿ ??ÿ

TxDOT has their own language to use and everything is addressed as something to the likes of?ÿ xx.xx feet right from center line station 4+02.75 and the only bearing is for the centerline.
It is so distant from a normal metes and bounds, I'm not interested in learning.
