Surely a case of the LS never being onsite and merely sending out untrained laborers to set bars where the software says they should go. ?ÿProfits, profits, profits.
We're doing a couple of boundary and topo surveys here in Austin. I've requested the field crew to revisit the site to search for some additional corners. When I tell the PM this, he says, "is the (RPLS) requesting all these corners?". I say, "No...I am. We can't say it's not there if we haven't looked." That shut him up pretty quick.

It's a very elegant pincushion though when you consider the amount of time it took to carve out the side of the first cap so cleanly to allow the 2nd bar to fit flush against the first.?ÿ More of a carpenter's skill though...
