Hi,

I would like to ask your help. Our Sokkia SRX does not find the prism. It begins to search the prism, but it turns and does not stop at it. As if it wouldn't be able to recognize it.

Can you tell me some solution?

Thanks in advance,

Tibi

Are you using the RC unit at the prism? If so, is the battery charged? It doesn't give a warning when low, it just stops working if I remember correctly.?ÿ

Was it previously working and just stopped working one day or is this your first time using it?

If using the RC, make sure the door on the SRX handle is flipped open.

We had that issue at least 2-3 times per year with ours.?ÿ There is a known defect where it wont see the prism between certain distances, Ii think it was 200-400 feet. We got tired of sending it in and had to abandon them.?ÿ It was the 2nd best equipment move we've made.

Have you tried calibrating the image sensor?

I use it with RC, but it is working correctly. The SRX finds the RC but not the prism. Even not if i target the prism totally. It can measure distance, but unable lock, so can not follow the prism. I have tried that I put the prism to 10 cm from the total station. It tried to lock, it is clear that he is perceiving something, but cannot complete the operation.

No, I haven't tried to calibrating the image sensor yet. Please tell me how to do it.

Best Regards,

Tibi
