The Sokkia I have is a IX XR series with RC-pr5a. It will turn around with the joystick but won’t turn when you hit rc search left or right. When you hit rc search, it says it’s searching on the Dc and robot but it’s not moving at all. Then when it’s done it will beep and the far button on the remote will blink rapidly.

The robot still does set collections and will track but you have to point on target without search. I was wondering if anyone had a similar problem ? Any help is great thank you.

I do not have that equipment but here is a guess. Check all the settings because on my Leica TS15 I set some angle limits for a scan I took and then days later when I wanted to double some angles the TS would not do anything. I tried the manual button to flop the scope and nothing. I thought the scan settings would only affect the scan but no, the lower vertical limit stopped the TS from flopping the scope and it took a whole evening of going thru the settings to find the problem because I had forgotten that I had even set that vertical limit. A classical case of me stepping on my own dick. Anyway it could be a setting somewhere so good luck.
