Cannot speak to the GeoMax Zipp 10, although a quick look at their datasheet shows similar characteristics to the Sokkia iM series.

The Topcon GM-50 series and the Sokkia iM-50 series are the same instrument with a different user interface.?ÿ The Topcon version has a user interface intended to mimic the simple interface of the GTS-200/310 and later models, except that the keypad has full numeric/alpha capabilities where some of the earlier Topcon models did not.?ÿ The Sokkia iM-50 has the user interface that has been typical of Sokkia's basic total stations for over 20 years.

These instruments can be ordered in two configurations:?ÿ the models we always order feature both Bluetooth & laser plummet.?ÿ There is a slightly lower priced configuration that does not have Bluetooth and has an optical plummet.?ÿ If the laser plummet and wireless connectivity are important, you should as for that version.?ÿ Both versions are offered in 2" and 5" models.
