...when I noticed the shadow of a plumb bob on the floor next to my cat. I said, "What the...?!" and then immediately started wondering to myself how that was possible since I don't have any plumb bobs in my house. So then I turned to look at the source.
It just goes to show that you can take the boy out of surveying, but you can't take surveying out of the boy.
