This outfit has been advertising heavily in POB etc for some time. There have been inquiries about them on this board but as yet no reports of experience. I took a chance and got two Hiper batteries from them and thus far am pleased.

Price is the lure ($65 versus $200 from Topcon). Their website is friendly and payment was via PayPal. FedEx ($18) is the only delivery option.

Didn't realize until I'd ordered that they are in Malaysia. To my surprise, the batteries nevertheless arrived 3 days later -- actually one of the few things that happened on time during Irene's visit to Maine.

I installed and started testing yesterday -- as of this morning the Hiper is still cooking after running about 16 hours.

Longevity remains to be tested but so far, no complaints.

I just purchased from them too and I wasen't sure where they were located. The batteries arrived as stated and appear to be what I expected, we will see. $30 per battery instead of $80 from a dealer. I also noticed that shipping was $18 for one unit, two units or three units so I bought three to make the shipping fee less painful.

We bought some off-brand batteries for our walkie-talkies a couple of years ago. Service was fine and they worked great. For awhile. Within 6 months or so (of recessionary work load duty) they weren't holding a charge anymore. Replaced them with name brand motorola batteries, more cost but better value.
