So one of our cheap skate clients called and needed an as built for his new house. I go out and shoot everything and come back and draw the house on the subdivision we did for him a couple of years ago. Well mister cheapskate, who by the way did not have us stake out his house, has built his brand new house about 15 feet into a flood way and all of the house is inside the 100 year flood plain. I am sure the bank is going to love this.
The boss emails a pdf to cheapskate who complains that he built well clear of the stakes we put in marking the edge of the flood way and that what we had sent was unacceptable. Oops mr cheapskate, those were your property corners. The worst part is he had copies of the plat we did for him when we subdivided the property, the boss even asked if he wanted us to stake the flood way.
Can not wait to see how this turns out.
I try to not work for stupid people. I know, sometimes they sneak up on you.

Tommy, It looks like those of us not willing to work for stupid people will soon have to retire due to lack of clients. Sad but true.
