Yesterday morning about 10:30 a woman called wanting about an acre cut out of a larger tract.?ÿ She mainly wanted to know when we could get it done.?ÿ I told her that it would be around mid April.?ÿ She responded that she'd have to talk to her husband to see if that would work and she'd get back with me.
Well, she called at about 11:15. I was on the phone.
5 minutes later she called again.?ÿ I was out of my office.
In all, she called 6 times in about a 30 minute span.?ÿ Now I fully admit that I didn't answer the phone the last 2 times just out of spite.
When I did call her back at 4, she told me she had found someone else.
Bullet avoided.
I've found that people that burn up the phone trying to get me started on a job are inversely prone to NOT answer their phone after I've sent them an invoice.
?ÿI learned this lesson in my career (Mining "Exploration and Development", Vancouver Stock Exchange) before I started Surveying. It's not a coincidence, it's a tactic.?ÿ?ÿ
