But I sacrificed for years to be able to do that. ?ÿI was looking for used but covid had the 3/4 and 1 ton trucks sky high in my area. So I found a new one and just bought it. It is used for everything from farm to vacation. I have used it for surveying way more than I want to but we have struggled to find trucks as we add on crews for a while company wide. That??s starting to get better though. They lease all the survey rigs. Is that common practice where you are. To use your own vehicle for company. Here I don??t think it??s common. ?ÿCompanies usually provide a vehicle. ?ÿI know a few in different states that give a monthly stipend plus gas. Usually they require a certain vehicle type. So. Basically those buy a new 3/4 ton and the stipend pays the monthly note .
