I just use the calibration to search for existing monumentation. I usually only calibrate to two points. If you use more than two, I've had some weird results even when the residuals are small. When you only use two points to calibrate all it does is shift to your coordinate system and rotate to your basis of bearing. I don't want it scaling my distances like three and four point calibrations do.?ÿ
