@dmyhill I too pumped gas prior to surveying and was a shift manager, but, just like you, I didn't see it as something I wanted to do for a living.?ÿ You did make one key point though, regardless of the industry, initiative and the desire to advance are essential to any career path.

You are correct in the statement that it's hard to find a warm body for minimum wage, but, when we do, we keep an eye on that person.?ÿ If that person is learning and progressing, we should be rewarding them financially as they are adding value, that's just smart business.
