I agree with that, and could imagine other unexpected consequences with AI guidance of vehicles, dams, power grids etc..?ÿ
I've listened to Dr. Ben Goertzel, head of SingularityNET Foundation, and he terrifies me.?ÿ Massively intelligent but seemingly incapable of entertaining any form of negative outcome from connecting all AI systems.?ÿ He worked in China for many years because they granted him more experimental freedoms and kept the money train running.?ÿ He's now on an island somewhere near Seattle working feverishly to link every AI with an ultimate goal of downloading his mind into the network he creates.?ÿ What could go wrong with an isolated cross-disciplinary scientific savant, who's an obsessive Pollyanna, being placed in control of the AI ultra-connectivity?ÿon-off switch?
