My TDS Ranger is not equipped with bluetooth but is fairly new. Can these things be upgraded with bt without having to spend $5K on a new one?

Thanks

@Joe

where does the card get inserted? Is it like an external drive that can be pulled out each day?

Thanks

If you have a recent Ranger like you said, there should be a black piece of rubber on top with a single screw. If you remove the screw and take the rubber piece/cover off, you will see two compact flash slots. TDS makes a larger rubber piece (maybe it's called a boot I don't remember) that will allow a Compact flash gps receiver to stay enclosed and permanently installed. My guess is that you might need something like this for the compact flash adapter too... but I am not sure, there is a chance the adapter will fit in there without sticking up.
