Ranger 3--is it worth the tradeup?

I just went from a Nomad to a Ranger 3 with the latest TDS. I haven't found it to be over the top faster, better or anything. The onboard radio is nice but my range is way down compared to my stand alone radio. It does appear glitchy too

Frank: I like the Ranger 3 better. Faster processor, more memory, built in camera, built in GPS navigation grade receiver (which makes GPS search a breeze).

I MUCH prefer the new layout of Survey Pro 5.x over the 4.x version. Much friendlier to me.

In the GNSS connections it is better. You can now have multiple profiles set up for one receiver. It can be a base, rover or Network Rover. I like that quite a bit.

So in my opinion, yes, it is worth it.

2 days into using our TSC3, I love it. Will use it any time I can over the TSC2. The keyboard is set up differently though, so I feel slow with descriptions thus far

Agree w/others. The screen is a little larger, its much faster and survey pro 5.x is much better than 4.x.
