We have recently upgraded our GPS from Leica 500 to Trimble R8 GNSS. I really liked the 500's but the addition of GLONASS is awesome, especially for RTK. We have access to a RTK network (single base stations). We use TSC2 running both Survey Pro 4.11.2 and Survey Controller 12.46. When I look at the base station information (for the CORS) the broadcast antenna type comes up as ADV NULL antenna with an antenna offset value (the value almost matches the L1 offset of the CORS antenna) . I expected that the software would pick up the antenna model from the RTCM message and match up a calibration file for the L1 and L2 offsets (I'm not sure about the GLONASS antenna offsets).
My question is: Does the Survey Pro or TSC software match up the broadcast antenna model to a calibration file and apply the offsets for network RTK?
I understand that RTK verticals aren't perfect, I just thought that the software should be able to match up the antenna model with its calibration file and I want to make sure that I have the controller set-up properly.
Any links or info appreciated.
