I am preparing for the PS exam in April 2016. I purchased the PPI test prep materials and the NCEES PS Practice Exam. I am looking for any input which could help me with the exam. I have several textbooks recommended by Louisiana Board.
Has anyone attended the LSS seminars & publishing company (NCEES PS ("PROFESSIONAL") EXAM PREP SEMINAR)? just wondering if it worth the money.
Any information would be helpful. thanks in advance

Larry Phipps, who owns/owned LLS Workshops does have a tremendous library of Survey Reference Books and videos. not sure what the status is of Larry or his business- I understand he had some health issues last year? haven't been keeping up here, hoping he is fine.
I took one of his PLSS seminars 2 years ago prior to me taking the PS test - for me personally, it seemed to be a refresher of what I already knew.
If you are talking about Ted Madson's seminars they are great from what I hear. http://lss-seminars.com/Spring_2016/Spring_2016_Home_Page.html
I know when I was going through the testing years ago people highly recommended him. Everybody that I know that took his course said it helped him tremendously. I have taken seminars through him over the years mostly through correspondence and found them to be very good. You don't get an automatic pass with them. I kind of lost track with him after I let my Florida License lapse about 6 years ago.
Just passed mine last oct. Imo the practice test will tell you if you're ready.
+1 for Ted Madson. (makerofmaps above.) He had a series of tapes and book with tests (on the materials on the tape.) They were, without a doubt,
the best help I had for the exam. He knows his subject (legal aspects of the profession) and he knows how to break it down for teaching others. Hope you do well on the exams.
