I am trying to adjust a traverse in which the crew used the wrong prism constant with the long range prism. Does anyone know how I can correct this in TBC?

One way to do it, which I prefer, is to correct the dc file.

Yeah that's the only way I know how to do it too. I was trying to keep from doing that. This dc file has over 30,000 lines of data in it. I have already isolated my traverse data and didn't want to go through all that again. Working on instrumentation at a dam in OH and the crew did everything in one file. So I have base control traverse, alignment pins, SDM's, and over 2 miles of centerline profile in one dc file. I'm gonna kill me a crew chief. 🙂

You can select the observation and go to properties. Then you can change the selection for prism type. If you're using Trimble glass then the constant changes with the selection. If you select "custom" in the prism drop down, you can then manually change the constant.

That's not a problem using the Star*Net.
