Anyone know of any place selling these? Trawling a few other forums and it looks as if people are waiting... and waiting.
These receivers were made by Novatel, which I understand is now owned by Leica.
Do a Google search for a "NTA2442 Battery" You will get lots of hits.

That NTA2442 battery looks as if it's for the Allegro CX data collector which was sold with these units. The GPS battery is flatter with 3 contacts at one end.
I've been waiting a while for Advanced Positioning Systems Inc who in turn are probably waiting for Sokkia or Novatel. I'll try Bench Mark if APS don't come up with anything soon.
Everything's working, but the batteries are getting a bit tired in a shorter time now, especially in cold weather. These receivers really perform well and I wouldn't want to lose them just for want of batteries.
Have you tried Batteries plus?
I had them re-cell my Nikon NPL-350 battery and was very pleased with the price and performance, so far.
