You can see the hen in the background. But the guy in the front wasn't liking me around and acted annoyed and like he wanted to attack the survey rig :-O ...so I moved on.

I think I know those guys

Or at least some stupid enough to do something similar.

One of my neighbors is from Nebraska and brought up a clutch of wild turkey eggs that he hatched in his basement. His homestead is crawling with them, including a rather large and aggressive tom. One day while out working in his garden, that big old tom came after him all fluffed up and full of piss and vinegar, itching for a fight. Mind you they have a spur on their leg like something off of a velociraptor. Well, my neighbor, fearing for his safety and tired of all these assaults, went into the house and grabbed his stun gun and went back to working on the garden. Here comes that tom. Without looking up my neighbor jabbed that stun gun in the turkeys breast and let him have it. Zap! Turkey flutters and feather fly and that turkey falls flat on his face, laying there twitching for about fifteen minutes. Slowly he came back to life and stumbled around bumping into everything in his way. Week later, the neighbor is back in his garden and here comes that tom again, all fluffed up and itching for a scrap. Neighbor pulled out the stun gun and showed it to the turkey. Apparently turkeys are not that stupid. One look at that stun gun and all the air went out of him and he slinked off like a scolded school boy.
