First up is a aerial with the monument plotted and the leveling book. We found what was left of the monument but not the brass disk. This mark was a vertical with a scaled lat/long and was about 200' from the quoted lat/long.
The next is what I call "Porter fought the fence but the fence won"..Carhardts snared in barbed wire. He was not amused at me laughing while taking photos instead of helping him out of his predicament.
The next one is titled "Zen and the art of the Machete". No other explanation needed.
Looking at those photos, you're starting to get the itch again aren't you?
🙂
If I do get the urge anytime soon then I'll just go down and pound hubs for Roadie for a few hours. That should cure the urge pretty quickly.
This pick is from the new part of my neighborhood. No surveyors in it but on my morning run. Just a long line of lot pins and a new road. Soon houses will be rising and grass sodded.
Deral,
good to see some action shots from Lawton ...
