This job has finally gone to contract. The control traverse for it is a pretty dismal tale. Run conventionally (on a local system that is based on a bearing system I'm ashamed of)- mostly within feet of the fogline, in 1987, metricated, "maintained" at the rate of destroying 40% of it within 3 years of it's establishment,etc, etc. anyway- we're densifying/verifying the control, so we put in 3 of these.

we'll traverse through everything that's left, and verify the level run, do re-sets on 2 NGS benches, then adjust it all in Star*net. We'll also establish positions- at a minimum OPUS-DB on these permanant monuments.
