Trying to permit some water. One task is to figure out ownership in the water allocated area, then get them to sign off.?ÿ

So in this section DOT came through and purchased a right of way in fee through 1/2 mile in the 1990's.

Simple enough and they are very clear in the warranty deed that it's fee and not an easement.?ÿ

For my 1/2 mile there are three owners of concern, they all sold the land to DOT, then some years later executed trust deeds, but they used the old deed and did not except out the DOT parcels. Not a big deal for me, or it shouldn't have been.?ÿ

Trying to convince the regulators that the people no longer own that strip has been frustrating to say the least. And I can't fix this, it's not my clients problem nor should it be.?ÿ

Weird thing it was three different attorneys, one from out of state that did the trust deeds. They all made the same error.?ÿ
