Seaworks Compoany, Doha Qatar has requested a proposal for survey services in conjunction with a proposed dredging project.

Of course the "tender for services" requires a 500,00 QAR deposit, about $138,000 USD....

Anyone want to team up? I'm curious how they got my name. I mean it's just me working here!!!

I figure I need two boats and then my buddy and i can head off, maybe a four mil project? It's supposed to be a four year project.

Who else received this RFP???

Don

We've been having a problem with fruit rats eating parts of the fruit on our dwarf lemon tree. I thought, what the heck, I'll put a few rat traps baited with cheeze in the tree. I promptly forgot about them over the ensuing few weeks.

This weekend, I was in the garden and over the next few hours I kept getting a whiff of something rotten. Then I remembered about those traps and checked the tree. Sure enough, there was a dead bloated mama rat. She was really rank.

This smells like that!

According to this site the company is a purchasing agency of the Qatar government

A bid bond isn't unusual for a major project, so this might be legit. You should go for it 😉

I understand a bid bond, but not at $138,000!!! That's my yearly net on a good year!

Depends upon which group. My family has been in east Texas since the 1850's, but there are numerous other branches of Redmons in Texas that I do not have a known familial tie to.
