Not ownership, but you can get all the assessors maps here...

http://www.ormap.net/

It defiantly leaves some things to be desired but it is worth the price of admission.?ÿ

Survey records and ownership/cadastral and often deeds are all online and easily accessible but it is by county. ?ÿBy easily accessible, I mean an online GIS with all the info but you might need to read the help file and get familiar with that countyƒ??s system which might take a little effort. ?ÿSometimes they are three different systems. ?ÿ

?ÿ

Which counties are are you working in?

In many counties but not all. Certainly the Portland Metro area and Willamette Valley Counties mostly have on-line resources. And Deschutes County. There are others. But there are many counties that simply do not have the resources. In a lot of cases the job of County Surveyor is an unpaid position and there is no staff. I heard of one county that had no person in it qualified to be the County Surveyor (must be a registrant and a resident of the county). Many of these Counties are in the far eastern part of the state.?ÿ ?ÿ ?ÿ

Good point, that it is not all counties.  I think some counties even have their surveys behind a paywall.  But for many counties the online record access is pretty good.  Which really makes the “which county” question relevant.

Our online sources are spotty and usually the person that knows the answer to any questions about hiccups or instructions on what to do to get going is busy or out. That is their official term for "we do not have anyone that can help". And only half of the immediate Clerk Offices are online.
