I sent a .dat file to OPUS and it rejected, with a message that "OPUS can't convert this file to Rinex".
This was over 4 hours of log, and I usually have no problem, followed the same procedure. Is it possible that something wrong happened to my dat file while logging, that I don't know about?
thanks

I would make sure I have the latest version of RINEX Conversion, convert the T01 (or T02) file, and submit the o14 file.
Download the free rinex utility and convert it yourself then submit.
TEQC Front End
Downlaod Mark Huber's front end for TEQC at http://teqc.silkwerks.com/ and use it to convert and check your file. There are instructions and tutorials on the site that explain how to use it.:-)
I usually (mostly) convert trimble dat files to RINEX and then submit. The command for converting a dat file to rinex using teqc is simple:
teqc -tr d xxxx1000.dat>xxxx100.14o for day 100.
Actually, it will usually work without the "-tr d" parameters, since I believe it assumes trimble download format by default for a .dat file. But, it doesn't hurt to include them.
teqc does many other things (and it is free). Very much worth spending some time to get familiar with it.
OPUS has not taken native format (Trimble) files for quite some time, at least on my end. I've had to convert to rinex for 8 years or so now.
thanks for all the information. what really confuses me is that I have not had any problem getting OPUS solutions, until this file got rejected. I don't send in every day, but about once a week for years.

Send me the .DAT file, and I'll try and take a look at it tonight.
