I've been asked to update one of my first ALTA efforts, way before I had settled on a consistent drafting style. It is painful to look at that drawing. Sort of like digging out and reading my sixth grade essay on "My aquarium." Seemed pretty good at the time but now not so much.
Just how many such ALTAs did you do, and over how long a period, before you formalized your drafting style?
Look at the bright side. You've learned a thing or two and are a better Surveyor now..
Much worse than looking at less than stellar drafting is looking at errors. They will leap off the page at you years later.
I've done the same thing, and those drawings were done in my first attempt at a cad template. (I went through a lot of trial and error before I could consistently create a good template, or update and existing one).
The good news is you're getting paid to make it look right.
This profession would not be nearly as enjoyable without the freedom to improve.
