with 1 being the worst year ever and 10 being the best year ever...
How was your year in the surveyin' business?
Mine was a 7.04
This year was a 8 point 5. Next year looks better. Expenses down, got some equipment payed off..it was probably the best year since '03 or '04.
Financially about 6 or 7.
Job satisfaction about 10.
I made a lot more when I had private clients but I just don't miss them.
Well, financially, we dropped back. 5, when you consider how much OTHER prices went up.
Spiritually, it was One of our best years.
And, I'm growing in respectfulness towards all men.
God is still ultimately in charge of the planet.
Rachel and I are still on our honeymoon.
God Bless all of you.
Nate
I've had 140% sales increases for 3 consecutive years now. Business is good.
Must have been a 10. No complaints. Not filthy rich, just filthy. About the right pace for the time I had available.
Brother you are an encouragement to young solo fellers like me.
After a six month corporate stint this year that I would have to rate about 1.5 physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Now that I am back solo again, and I know that guys like you are doing just fine and dandy that way I am looking forward to rating my next 20 - 40 years between a 7 and a 10.
I am settling in to make a go at this for good.
You and others here are an encouragement.
You are quite fortunate and blessed in all respects. Understanding true worth and true wealth decreases the need for stuff, which is all money is good for anyway.
Nate
You're a rich man. I don't know you or your financial situation but to have the love of a good woman and family is worth more than all the money in the world. I'm like you in one sense. My honeymoon has lasted almost 36 years.

I already have so much more than I deserve. I am at a loss to give adequate thanks.

Compared to the last 3 years, 2012 was good strong 10.
Did not put much into savings, but at least we paid our bills and paid some off.
Not liking the looks of 2013, but I have been wrong before.
Randy
2012 was a "eh". I'd put it at a 5.
Looking forward to a better (hopefully) 2013. Then again, one of my faults is that I'm overly optimistic.
Nate, great attitude. Too often we focus on monetary wealth, yet it is truly the health/relationship/family wealth that is really important.
I'd say a 5. But we're going in the right direction.
