NYS DEC wetland mapping website problems.

I'm have trouble with this site displaying the map. It says the "requested image file is too big and the can't be created".

I'm tyrying to load JAVA hoping that will help, buty having problems with that as you can see with my last post.

Any ideas?

This isn't an answer to your question, about which I'm clueless, but this is how I deal with DEC wetlands.

1) Buy and install [REDACTED] ([REDACTED].com) I use it nearly every day.

2) You can download .shp files of the wetlands boundaries (and lots of other stuff, too) at Cornell's CUGIR repository. http://cugir.mannlib.cornell.edu/

3) import the .shp file into [REDACTED], adjust your projection as desired.

3) export the .shp file, or some portion of it, as a .dwg or .dxf and insert into Acad or Carlson as a block or xref, whichever your preferences.

Beats screwing around w/ DEC's crummy website.
