?ÿ

Good afternoon community.
Does anyone here have experience making custom .ngs files for Trimble Business Center?
Is that I made one to include a custom antenna in TBC but, although the program already recognizes the antenna, the process fails due to "invalid parameters". I think it is due to the custom .ngs file.

I do not know how to create custom antenna files in TBC but perhaps this document describing the ant_info.003 file format.

https://geodesy.noaa.gov/ANTCAL/documents/format.txt

BTW, what is the source for your calibrations? Not knowing TBC, I wonder why it does not accept absolute calibrations?

@geeoddmike The problem is that TBC uses custom .ngs files that differ in the values used for the "UP" offset in both L1 and L2, and the truth so far I have not found what criteria they use to make that change. I will place two images of .ngs calibration files of an antenna .... the first one taken from TBC and the second one, of the same antenna, taken from the NOAA calibration files.

I have a hazy memory about one going from horizon=0 to zenith=90, and the other going from zenith=0 to horizon=90.?ÿ But I long ago gave up trying to make custom antenna entries for TGO or TBC; the process never seemed to work well for me.

@jim-frame Agree. It's frustrating.
