Like the picture of the tackball - brings me back to when we had 3 man crews and the crew chief would make you re-fill the tack ball when he ran out.
Still have one hanging off my pouch and still comes in handy! Most of the young guys now don't know what a pouch or a tackball is!
And yes, opening manholes is just no fun

we have a new one as well, either a jake or a mary A. it is effective, but subsurface mapping is fatiguing
