I am shopping for one or more ProMark3 I/O modules (cradle), Part #702191. Am also looking for a source to have them repaired. Have tried to contact Thales/Ashtech at a CA number, but no reply. The distributor we know just says they are obsolete and is not interested in helping. Thanks.

I have a pair of PM3's with extra battery's, 12v chargers, and external charger, plus a PM2. Have't used them in years.

Make me a reasonable offer.

Your dealer is correct, the I/O modules have been EOM/EOL for a little over a year. As for repair, I am not certain of a source to handle this, I have not run across one yet.

Nearly a year ago I read that part was approaching end of line and was not being produced anymore and what ones that may be on a shelf somewhere were the only ones left.

Yes, they are 'really' eol.

I don't get any PM3's, but I do get MMCX's and MMCE's on trade and thankfully they sometimes have a good IO module.

I currently have a few used ones that I have taken on trade, and I collect the broken ones for repair. I have been selling the 'good' used ones on an absolute must have basis for the past year. (I think this means if you have a working one, I won't sell you used one. But if you are desperate, then I will? It has come to this and I sincerely apologize!)

We solder-suck the good pins off of damaged modules and put them on other modules at this point. It is a sad endpoint for the PM3's!

Mark
