Need help for import data from gpt 8203A

Hi,
I have problem with import data from GPT8203A using topcon link.
I set the communication parameters as
1. Bautrate: 9600
2. Parity: none
3. Data length: 8
4. Stop bit: 1
5. Protocol: YMODEM

After download file extension RAW and 100% complete the topcon link said the file was not recognized.
coul you please help me to solve this problem?

Are you saving the data to the compact flash card on the instrument, and using a card reader to download?

I have only ever used the data collector with my instrument, which is a Topcon GPT 8005A, which is very similar.

I used topcon link in PC to download the data.

I can download but I cannot open it.

I want to try by factory reset but I don't know how to do it.

What type of file do you download? Do you have Topcon Tools?

Did you try converting it in Topcon Link? See here:

There are many other options as well.

Finally, there may be some options in the station itself for output file formats. Topcoat Link should handle them all though.

I try ask your advised but the file format is not recognized.
I read the manual of gpt 8200 series and I saw the extension of the file is DAT. But in my TS there are no DAT extension. It have *.raw, *.cod, *.pts,...
I download these file with topcon link and in topcon link I received file1.tex
and I open it with topcon link it said the file was not regconized.
do you have any advise?

Sorry, I have no idea. I have never downloaded from the instrument in this fashion.

Just out of curiosity, have you thought of just using the data card in the instrument to transfer the files to the computer using topcoat link?
