Right now I am using a Trimble R8. I am thinking about adding a Promark 800 that is half the price of a R8. Anyone using, Pros Cons?

It is a ProMark 500 updated to utilize L5 and Galileo when it becomes a benefit. However it is an option, it will not come standard. The ProMark 800 can use FAST Survey (Carlson SurvCE) as the data collection software on either the ProMark 100 or FT-1 bundled directly from Ashtech/SP or Survey Pro on the Ranger 3.
Shoot me an email ([email protected]) if you have any specific questions.

The Promark 800 is a great unit. To save some money though look into the Epoch 50. It's the same thing as an R8 and you can pick one up with a Nomad or Ranger running Survey Pro for right at 14k. Email for a quote if you'd like.
