Thought I would post a few pics if 2 gadgets sitting on my desk.
First is an old K&E tension handle.
This was lying around in the closet until I found it 
The other isn't an original, it's a replica. I had been looking and keeping my eyes open for a surveyors compass and I walked into a store and found this puppy. Solid brass in a nice box. Couldn't resist for $90.
Still got a couple old transits too from my grandfather's days.
Really would like to add an old surveyors chain to the mix later on. I'm sure one day I'll come across one.
