Hope you don't mind, but, I've shared the first photo with quite a number of friends. The comments have all been positive.
It took me back to the day I looked out the window to see my two pre-school age daughters placing sticks in the ground then taking purposeful strides between them and making signs as though they were writing something on a notebook page. Sometimes they would lean over as though they were looking through a scope and making little adjustments to the invisible instrument.
