Yes! I'm always amazed that our actual military weapons and personal work so well in time of war. Especially after surveying military base construction sites and utilizing their site plans. Thank God. Jp

I spent 6 years in the Army traveling the world. We built functioning cities in just days and overcame community obstacles that had lasted decades. The skills I picked up almost 40 years ago still serve me well...

I am worried every time I hear of the newest, latest technology wonder they give our troops, taking away whatever old, reliable, mechanical contraption that requires no electricity, no technology, and can be repaired by someone with some tinkering skills. Many of the old mechanical devices have served for decades of service, now put to pasture by modernization, and the replacement takes batteries...

I read somewhere recently the military was dusting off the books for the enlisted men for geodetic locations by optical observation. It seems as though everything is so SV oriented these days that we'd surely be in a world of hurt if the constellation was disabled or corrupted.
