Will someone please help with name and phone number of a stake company. It's been a while since i placed an order and have lost the source.
There was a company in Michigan where i bought hardwood "lath" - about 1.75"x1.5"x4' (maple?). Very reasonable prices and quick delivery.
Anyone know this company (or similar if not)?

years ago...like 30 years!!! we bought truckloads of stakes from Stan's Industrial Woodworks... Up in Wisconsin.
The best in St. Louis is Surveyor's Materials....great stuff...don't know if they ship or not... Tell Ed I sent you if you contact them.

Great product, and great people to deal with. They use oak and maple and have a great survey product.

The hardwood 1"x2"x48" are excellent. When i do use this type of stake, these have proven best over the years. i don't recall ever splitting one. And, excellent surface to write on.
