I have a 5+ yr old pistol from shonstedt. It has been in the shop once. Broke the ribbon tape wire thingy. I had to have it, because as a one man crew, (with a few helpers sometimes) I have to be able to carry it. So, I have one. I don't like ANY of them with "moving or sliding parts" that can fail. Waterproof is good. I have a new (used, but new to me) shonstedt, and I want to make a PVC tube to carry it on the ATV. Aint done it yet.
