Texas, barely a fourth world country, has little to brag about.
I don't see what's so great about a disorganized chaotic land tenure system with narrative surveys that may or may not get into the public record.
At least in Oklahoma we have rivers to live by in our vans.

Well, I guess if the van probably isn't going anywhere, anyway, it's probably a good thing that it conked out on an expedition to go noodling for catfish instead of in the parking lot at the bingo hall.
