Been using the FC-5000 with the GT robot for about 1.5 months now, but when the touch screen gets wet albeit rain or sweat (getting hot down here in S Florida) its basically non responsive the touch screen goes nuts. Is it just me or is this a limitation of this collector or anyone come up with some creative ideas yet. It does have a screen protector on it but I've been unsuccessful finding any other cases for it...even just to store it in transport.

Thanks for the Input!

Have you tried adjusting the touchscreen profile?

Get a screen protecor on it right away, they are cheap and worth it. https://www.hayesinstrument.com/st_prod.html?p_prodid=2965
May have to get one of those small padded bags for transport. https://www.hayesinstrument.com/st_prod.html?p_prodid=2165

Or http://www.pelican.com/us/en/pro/product/watertight-protector-hard-cases/small-case/standard/1120/

The touchscreen profiles should be found in the "Tiles" menu. Just choose the "Wet Touch" profile when conditions demand it.

FYI, Carlson has a hard carrying case for the RT3 (Carlson branded Mesa2) with laser cut inserts. Not as solid as the Pelican but it'll fit your tablet, a RAM mount, and the charger snugly. Carlson p/n 8010.080.115

Fired it up and instantly found the wet setting, that'd I wish I knew was there a week ago.... these 60Hr weeks in the field are getting me a little burnt out.
