I didn't see where they explained why, though.
Up from $82, to $150. Still not as bad as some others.
Texas is currently $379 per year. More on a yearly basis than my other 5 combined.

Florida is $255 for 2 years for personal surveying license. Stack on another $255 for the surveying business license. Oh yeah, and don't forget to add on another $400-$600 for continuing education credits.
Wow, it sure does cost a lot to regulate surveyors in Texas. They must be an unruly bunch there ;).

And the MA license is for two years....
I know about TX.
Mass has been the cheapest - but I knew that the increase would happen sometime.
I'm sure that it'll creep up to TX size - give it a few more years.
