Hello I just bought a used Leica wild zenith optical plummet and I was wondering if something is broken inside or is ok.

It seems soething inside like the morror to move a liitle bit is this ok?

Nice instrument. It's (probably) not broken. That sound would be the suspended compensator reaching the limit of its travel. You can hear a similar sound when tilting an automatic level.
