I have a Circa 1999 TCP 1100 robotic Total Station (tcra 1103 z) with TDS on board connected to a TCPS 26B spread Spectrum Radio that is controlled by a RC1100. Looking for a way to run it from a modern data collector.... possibly by adding a spread Spectrum Radio to a suitable Collector
I also use a CS15 controller with GS14 receivers..with Carson Survce and Leica smartworxs.. but the only way I'm able to operate the tcp1100 is manually using Carlson software. Not sure if there's a way of adding a similar spread Spectrum Radio to that to communicate with the robot radio... or replace the the radio on the robot?
I sometimes use the robot with rc1100 over long distances such as a half a mile or more traversing and am hesitant to use Bluetooth ..which I'm told is only good to about a thousand feet or so ,which is great for construction staking, but not for my work.
Any thoughts?
Thank you

I don't know about the 11 series, but I was able to hook up a TCRP1203 robot (c.2006) to CS20/Captivate by purchasing the appropriate radio handle (RH17 ?) for the gun.
Don't know 'bout hookin' it up to data collector . .. but I love that gun! And closes traverses very well, still, to this day!
