My Wild NAK2 (manufactured in 1980, before the name change, but still the "new style") is my pride and joy. I have absolutely no regrets or complaints about it. (That being said I regularly troll Ebay in hopes of finding one of the short list of optical levels that exceed the NA2 specifications such as the Sokkia PL1, Zeiss Ni002 or Wild N3 (old or new), more out of a compulsive want than a need.)

I also have the matching GPM3 parallel plate micrometer, and the 40x eyepiece.

I'm pretty sure than I have never used the angular measurement feature of the instrument so it might as well be a NA2.

The new price on these can be pretty steep, but there are always some available on The Ebay.

I purchased mine from a seller in India for a very reasonable price years age. It needed a little TLC from my local Leica dealer, but I think the cost of the new compensator was only 500CAD installed.

Both versions of the NA2 are automatic levels. You mention industrial work, if you do a lot of work in high vibration environments (stationary machinery, etc.) you may want to consider an older school "split bubble" level that won't be affected by compensator vibration.

Here's a post recently with some discussion on optical levels:
