Thanks guys, they are going to get the unit into a LGS service center for a look see, they and myself are well aware that EOL was a distant memory for the 530's, they have been a real workhorse though since I bought new in 2001 and sold in 2007, have been pretty reliable for 12 years until this recent issue.
