Leica 1203 TCRP

I've always been told that when you buy used equipment, you buy the other persons problems.

Sometimes you have to use the fixes of the other guy because the new equipment is so expensive.

There were seven systems similar to that for $7,000 each on here not long ago.

I believe that Leica no longer supports those instruments. Need the "+" to be in the range of supported 1200 series guns.

Being solo with a small budget, I bought mostly used equipment when I started business, including my total station. Just my experience, but I have had very good luck.

By the way, I like my Topcon, but I would love to have that Leica.

First of all, I would recommend to check the instrument thoroughly and make sure that there are no issues or faults. Secondly, I would check whether the instrument was calibrated. And finally, I would not advise to buy a surveying instrument from Asia.

It's also very important to get the serial number and check it with leica geosystem, before you inspect the instrument. $7,000 seems to be a little bit too expensive. I would say maybe $5500 - $6000.
