I have a 1203 robot thats been sitting in the stock room for 6 months. I pulled it out the other day to turn it on and nothing happens. I tried a fresh battery, still nothing. I recall reading in a thread here but couldn't find it about total stations losing firmware if not turned on for a long period of time. Is that why it won't power up?

I haven't Cameron, I don't have a cable to do that with. The batteries are good, I can put them in my other one and it powers up.

I suppose it's possible the internal battery is dead but I wouldn't think that would prevent the unit from turning on with a primary battery installed. Give it a love tap...

Depending on how much "love" you had to give it might be a good idea to run a check & adjust :joy:
