I think the answer will be "no", but is there anyway to have some elev shots display as "10.1" and some as "10.13" (I want ground shots to be to the nearest tenth).

Other than using "Point Labels", is there any way to do this?

Thanks,

Steve (c3d 2009 LDC)

I've never tried it, but could you take all the points out of the drawing, set it to display just one decimal point, and put in just the points you want displayed that way, than change it to two decimal places, and put those points in the drawing?

You could always give in to "the dark side" and switch to Civil 3D, which would solve both this problem and the one in your other thread... [evil grin]

Richard,

I'm glad they fixed that. Civil 3D is in the pipeline; boss wants to get happy with it before rolling it out, so it might be a long time...

Thanks,

Steve

Another way to do this is to create a label style containing elevation only and units at a tenth in style properties under the labels menu. You can use description key matching and on the next desc. key insert, it will apply that display style. I used this in the past to insert spot elevations of points with an X at the period position.
