Ok, I had to go talk about how much I liked my laser level. Now it won't turn on. So, whoever put the curse on me, can you please remove it?! thanks in advance!

Or, if anyone has a tip for a Topcon RL-H3C (besides throwing it in the lake) I'm all ears.

Andy

Recently replaced our RL-H3C with a RL-H4C when it quit "starting" recently. No idea what happened...just wouldn't turn on one day.

Most of the time we see this being a problem associated with the contacts on the battery door. I would clean the contacts, change the batteries. If that doesn't work, take the four allen screws out on the bottom of the unit. When you separate the parts of the unit there will be two cables, a black wire and a flex cable. Check the connections on those. Better yet, unplug and plug back in. If that doesn't work...it's more than likely a new main board. Time to upgrade.

Andy,

Curse removed. Try turning it off, then on again. That should do it.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Dave
